Platform Policy

Please read these guidelines carefully. We maintain strict rules to ensure a safe, academic, and respectful environment for all students.

Academic Integrity

LabRepo is designed to help you organize your own academic work.

  • Your own work: You must only upload work that you have created or have the rights to store.
  • No plagiarism: Do not use this platform to distribute copyrighted materials, cheat sheets, or other student's proprietary assignments without permission.

Zero-Tolerance for Obscene & Adult Content

We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against the upload or distribution of obscene, explicit, adult, or highly offensive material.

  • Prohibited Material: This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic images, highly offensive text, and illicit materials.
  • Automated Detection: While we respect your privacy, reports of such material will result in immediate action.
  • Consequences: Violations will result in an immediate account suspension and potential hard deletion of your account and all associated data, without warning.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the platform.

  • Authentication: We use Clerk to handle secure logins. Ensure your associated email accounts are secure.
  • Suspicious Activity: If we detect brute-force attempts on your account, we may temporarily lock it to protect your data.

Fair Usage

Resources are limited and shared among all students.

  • Storage Quotas: Standard accounts are limited to a predetermined storage quota (default 256MB).
  • Rate Limiting: Spamming the API with rapid upload requests will result in an automated block (Upload Burst flag).
